Terms of Service — Callaloo

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Callaloo’s mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Callaloo provides tools for households to collaborate on grocery lists and communicate order-related requests. Features may change over time. The Service does not sell groceries or process payments for third-party retailers.

Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you use the Service on behalf of a household, you confirm you have authority to bind that household to these Terms where applicable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

Violating applicable laws or others’ rights
Attempting to access data or accounts without permission
Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure
Reverse engineering or bypassing security except where prohibited law allows

Content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant Callaloo a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for your content and for obtaining any necessary consents (for example, when adding household members’ information).

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Callaloo does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Callaloo and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Callaloo’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid Callaloo for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), if you have not paid fees.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
